At first I was afraid to eat a picha pie

I admit I am not a pizza freak and I really am allergic to eating more than P200 worth of meal much more a P700 worth of pizza.

Plus there's this contest between thin crust and thick crust pizza, kung asa ba gyud ang makabusog?
Asa ba gyud?

Sa kumakalam na sikmura there is no difference between eating a thick or a thin crust pizza.

Basta kay pizza sya, solo, regular, large or party size, it’s for your mouth and stomach to consume.

Then, I remember the famous 3M Pizza Pie. Sounds like adhesive tapes huh.

I think per slice costs P2.00 but that was yearssssss ago.

Can't remember the exact price per slice but I do recall their small kiosk outside Davao City High School.

A kiosk equipped with a square-sized little oven to serve the students.

They say, the 3M Pizza Pie is the first pinoy pizza since 1969. Yes, I still do enjoy their homegrown pizza. Affordable nga talaga. My last taste of this pizza was in Marikina.

Then came Papa's Pizza.

Kahinumdom pa ba mo ang ilang tindahan naa sa Ponciano?

Gosh, tigulang na gyud siguro ko. Hehehe. I believe the first Papa's Pizza store was situated along Ponciano Reyes Street fronting the U.M. Multitest.

Then there's ZED Pizza.

Mind you people, before Greenwich introduced their sari-sari square pizza, may nauna na sa kanila. Anybody who has been to ZED along Bonifacio Street can attest to this.

Pero ang makagaba na pizza sa tanan.

The Yellow Cab Pizza.

It was Jun's birthday when we feasted on this pizza. Ang presyo, whew! gamay na lang kulang isa ka sakong bugas na.

A sack of rice enough to feed a family of six for a month.

However, Joy said, we only celebrate birthday once a year. As poor as we are, ibig sabihin, we can only afford to eat expensive pizza during special occasion. Pobre! Kabus og timawa.

In short, we are not sinners after all. For 11 months, we can eat ordinary pizza anytime we like and feast on that special and expensive pizza on your birthday month.

Sabi nga ng Parokya ni Edgar "you can't expect it to be free, that's why I'm saving all my money, para mayroong pambili."

Hmmm, I can’t help but think who will celebrate next? Maybe we can try Yellow Cab's "New York's Finest" pizza. It’s just P10.00 expensive than the "Manhattan Meatlovers" sinful pizza.

The evolution of pizza. Bow!
